"Not all men" is a defense of privilege, specifically "but I don't use my privilege in that way, I'm good."

The other is a majorly punching-down stereotype used by people with privilege to belittle and demean.

And yes, there's a contradiction in the initial callout of incestuous trailer park meth-heads vs finding middle ground

It'd be good to focus on actions, not tropes

Which leads to, how is it different saying "not all trailer park residents are incestuous meth-heads" vs "not all men are predators"?

To qualify the sentence that not all men are that way, It's like saying all lives matter.
We already know this if someone has to clarify their privilege, Doesn't that say at all. I know when I should shut up.How about you.
