No, but I've heard the claim that covid can cause diabetes. Probably people getting mixed up by diabetes making people more vulnerable.

The Covid vaccine can cause diabetes.

(Posting this after an enlightening discussion this afternoon - has anyone else come across this claim?)

Accuracy Alert!

Based on several credible sources, including scientific studies published on NCBI and information from the CDC and Diabetes UK, there is currently insufficient evidence to establish a direct, causal relationship between Covid-19 vaccines and the development of diabetes. Some studies showed no effect relationship between diabetes and vaccination, and no cases of new onset of type 1 diabetes have been reported following Covid-19 vaccination. While there appears to be complexities associated with the immunological responses to the vaccine, especially in people who may already have existing health conditions, this does not specifically point to the vaccine causing diabetes. Moreover, diabetes can make people more vulnerable to severe Covid-19 illness, and therefore vaccination is recommended for individuals with this or other underlying health conditions.

Apparently, this person was told *by their endocrinologist* that their diabetes was likely caused *by the jab* & (get this) ... it's being covered up.
Sigh.
As a mere psychologist, who am I to challenge an MD, or the MAGA paranoid delusions ....?
