RFK Jr. said doctors found a dead worm in his brain. What?!

Accuracy Alert!

Based on various sources including articles published by The New York Times and Threads.net, the claim that RFK Jr. said doctors found a dead worm in his brain is confirmed. The articles indicate that the issue relates to previously undisclosed health problems experienced by Robert F Kennedy Jr., including severe memory loss and mental fog, related to a parasitic infection. The worm is suggested to have eaten part of his brain and subsequently died there.

Possibly Toxoplasma gondii, a parasitic infection mostly associated with cats, but not that unusual in humans.

The worms form cysts in the brain. It is largely asymptomatic, being kept in check by the immune system -- becoming dangerous in immunosuppressed subjects.

Sounds likes something nastier.

MS COPILOT: "Neurocysticercosis" is the most common parasitic infection of the central nervous system. It occurs when people ingest the eggs of the tapeworm Taenia solium. The worm’s larvae then build up in various tissues, including brain, muscles, eyes, & skin.
