I mentioned we won't have fresh garlic till early August. Here's one of the (2) garlic beds now. What's cool is that we grow enough to replant for next year; do the same now with potatoes and kidney beans. Should really start saving seeds from peas & green beens too...

Looking great.
I used to grow garlic in with my roses and other flowers in pots.
They were small bulbs but delicious.

Cool! I love growing flowers with veggies & vice versa, although we don't do it a ton.

My plot at Duke Farms isn't big enough, nor do I have space at home to cure garlic or onions, so not sure if you're doing soft or hardneck garlic.

It's hardneck. Yeah, it does take a big garden to grow onions & garlic in sufficient quantities...but I love that we can 'cause they're so great to have.

Garlic looks good! I do the same- I plant the biggest cloves, enough for the next year + seed garlic, and store the rest for use. I still have most of 2 braids, and an experimental jar of cloves frozen.

Ooh, frozen sounds interesting! Maybe we should plant another bed (or at least row) so we had enough to last till the next harvest, but we can't really store it much longer in our pantry without some kind of cold storage.
