I'm trying desperately to stick around till it finally implodes, but it's so toxic, it's barely worth the hassle just for the schadenfreude.

I'll wait watch and see what happens as Schitter implodes and quick painful death. Got my account here so all is good. I'm just a sadist and want to see Elon cry like a girl when the Schitter dumpster fire gets out of control. Right now it's just on the cusp of falling into the flaming cauldron.

This is not accurate. After the twat took over I cannot comment on ANY account if they don’t follow me. I get a warning if I try saying that they cannot see my reply. Such crap.

So all the huge accounts that choose to follow only a few will reap the benefits of replies by trolls and bots? Funny, when I jump on to check my notifications of a few accounts, it's already happening. Maybe they'll finally be ready to jump ship and start spouting here more often.

What I find interesting is that even though it's been proven that there are millions of bot accounts and a large number of that are Russian, Chinese, Iranian and rightwing nuts, the focus is on TikTok as a national security threat.

Tiktok definitely has potential for propaganda. The reality, however, is that twitter is already a massive tool for propaganda that's being (ab-)used, quite shamelessly, by its owner, whereas tiktok is mainly cats, makeovers, and people dancing. In the EU, twitter is seen as a threat to democracy.
