Love the site but my concern is that you always said Spoutible would be free & even criticized Twitter/Instagram for adding paid features. But not even 6 months in & there's a trial balloon RE this survey abt moving to a paid tier. Paid tiers never end well for the non paying. Cant wait for the app!

I'm kicking in $5/month right now because I want this to be a success.
If you want to give me an ad-free experience for that money, great. But I'll drop this platform in a hot second if paying for features becomes a thing, because that's some Musky bullshit.

Same. I’ve been donating for years. In the past I usually donated a bit just after using BotSentinal to check for potential bots in my timeline. I’ve donated a couple of times to Spoutible too as a thank you for all the hard work that’s been done to create this lovely new space.

I'd love to see more news outlets and journalists on here. There are plenty of hyper partisan folks who post maximum confirmation bias silliness.
As to adult content, fine by me as long as it is opt-in and un-flagged content results in instant ban.

I retook the survey without the sixth question. I voted no on sexual content because there are other platforms for that. I also voted no on paying 3.99 for ad free and “other perks” because I don’t want to see spouts by users who pay get more exposure than the rest of us.

I voted no on sexual content but yes on the $3.99. Now I don't know if I'd choose to pay for some added perks but I do think the option should be available to people. In the end, social media sites need funds to run. That's one way to get funds.

absolutely love that you do surveys. I'd prefer you add a "N/A" and/or a "explain why" option for them in the future because it's not all black and white.

The survey forced me to express opinions I don’t have, eg, I have no opinion re the “bot sentinel” display because I don’t understand what it is. Requiring responses while providing only a limited set of acceptable answers, not including all possibilities, invalidates the results.

I was gonna do the survey but bailed at question #2 . it needs more of a description of what it means. I don't think sexually explicit stuff like porn should be on the platform, but I think people whose professions involve sex work should be able to promote themselves

I will not pay on social networks. Users should be paid, they are the ones who make a social network grow with their time and the content they create. Dear @cbouzy develop #Spoutible and make it attractive for advertising and above all internationalize it immediately.

I think a proper definition of sexually explicit is required. It's nuanced. I don't want junk accounts shaking their business in my face, but some med pros might post something valuable that might be considered sexually explicit. No porn.
