Thanks! My view is - if a light bulb is on for a full hour, it costs less than a single penny of electricity. Is it worth it for me to continuously nag my kids and have that "cloud" of negativity in my house on a constant basis, for a penny? For me, it's not even close. Gotta pick your battles. :)

It's like this - if your kid said he saw a dime on the ground while walking home from school, but didn't pick it up, would you complain about that? Like "money is money, no matter how small!!" Nope, probably wouldn't even think about it. But that light bulb being on isn't even 10% of that.

I was meaning more like me double checking as every one is heading out for school and work or if we're leaving to hang out for a few hours.
I don't nag anyone. Only important to me that the lights & tvs & game consoles are off when not in use for an extended period of time
