If Jack prevails on the charge of "conspiracy against the right to vote and have one's vote counted" a lot of this crap will suddenly disappear.

Can we get at least an "Amen", from #BarackObama ?

I cannot understand why there is no deeper articulation on this point by a man wholly suited for this moment.

Marc, is USDOJ suing any state over its voter suppression laws? It shouldn’t be *entirely* up to your (very able) team.

All we can do is our best. We have to get people to start thinking about their responsibilities as citizens of this country. We have to try to get as many people to the polls as we can. We have to get people who don't vote to the polls. Vote responsibly and always vote.

Non voters have to see whats going on by now. Repub voters have to see the party doing NOTHING they promised. Bans bans bans, solutions to issues they dreamed up. Religious grooming is off the charts so is gun violence. This should help bring more blue voters. Change Congress change the country!

I've been saying for years that we need to get down in the muck and mire where they live and fight fire with fire. We've always been too nice. It's time to play a few mean cards.

I wish the democrats, specifically Joe Biden would understand this. We won't be able to pull off this time what we did the last time. Indicting trump for leading an insurrection, classified material possession, intimidation//threats of an election official must happen or he won't have the votes.

Do you have a source that he doesn't? It's up to voters to always do the right thing and give Democrats the numbers, instead of blame shifting from poor voting choices.

Organizing alone, maybe not. But in the short term with so many voter suppression laws in place we have to organize like our lives depend on it to elect folks who will work with us to rescue democracy.

What about forcing employers to give election day off by holding a national boycott of anything that requires an employee to work. No shopping (incl online), no restaurants, no appointments, no transit/cabs. Keep kids home from schools….would that pressure employers to just shut up shop for the day?

Ok, even I in Canada can see this a mile away and a lot more. What are the answers to this, the solutions, and what can people do? I see it all the time, what is wrong is evident, and how to fix it is lacking in ideas.

Yeah, not like we kinda haven’t been seeing this coming down the pipeline since the Reagan era where Repubs started organizing to get more seats at the state levels and make all of these ridiculous changes to the laws for not only voting rights but everything else we are seeing. #fightbackAmerica

Trying to suppress college voters is exactly the needed spark to get even more young people involved in the fight for democracy. I hate all of the voter suppression tactics, but I really think this one will backfire on the GOP. College students are very capable when motivated!

We have to. We have to stop all this insanity. Did you see the latest in Florida, where they have a bill that makes it OK for doctors to refuse you treatment if they just claim it makes them uncomfortable from a religious standpoint? This is basically a bill to make genocide legal. IN AMERICA.

I hear ya... but, how do we treat it like the five-alarm fire it is, outside of organizing, registering new blue/ fair-minded voters, and ensuring we 'get out the vote' so we can vote in enough 'fire-fighters' to put out the five-alarm fire?

I’ve been in Australia and New Zealand the last 4 weeks. The difference in media coverage of US politics to US media is stunning. They are shredding the US Republicans and there is no Fox equivalent. What the hell is wrong with US media regulation???!
