Wife: What are we going to do about the possum?
Me: I don't know. Wolves?
Wife: Let me rephrase: "What are YOU going to do about the possum?"
Me: Let me rephrase: "Do I look like a wolf?"

Also, too, a possum’s life expectancy is only two years, so cherish that little toothy, pointy-nosed, short-lived creature that will rid your environs of pests.

What I do about possums: I put out a bowl of cat food, and I give them names.

Possums are lovely, gentle creatures. Feed it and it will stop by every evening. Don't feed it, and it will go elsewhere.

Leave the possum alone. They cause no harm and they devour ticks.

Possum eat ticks, grubs, baby mice, and are immune to rabies. Get that possum a throne and worship it.

Opossum are great to have in the yard they eat ticks and all other little creepy animal carcasses. They're like the garbage disposal of the animal world.

Just enjoy the possum's antics! They provide impressive pest control services for free. They're not at all aggressive (unless cornered), and it's extraordinarily rare for them to get rabies.

Saw one with like 6 babies riding on its back while on a run today. They are cute and even if you're a wolf you ain't catching that thing. 🤣

The Oakland As are solving their possum problem by moving to Las Vegas. Just a thought...

We had raccoons. After they left their attic nest in the spring, we patched the hole they crawled in and placed moth balls around the attic. They hate them.

Awww.... unless you have dogs that won't stop barking at it, opossum are harmless and will eat lots of bugs.

Ah, nothing better than a wife forgetting that you're "of a certain age" and not about that life anymore.

Don’t run it off! Opossums eat ticks and other pests. They are not aggressive unless you corner them, but even then more likely to just play dead - see the phrase ‘playing possum’.
