The Ten Commandments will be in TX classrooms.

None are abt abortion/being gay

One’s abt adultery
One’s abt lying
One’s abt stealing
One’s abt coveting goods
One’s abt coveting other men’s wives

Bc it's never too soon to learn your Trump-supporting adults are spiritual frauds.

I wonder if the teachers are allowed to define adultery to children? Or what coveting other men's wives mean? I don't know, but it seems like they're dragging sex into the classroom.

Just for fun:

For Jews, only one is about coveting. For Christians it’s two.

There is no blanket prohibition against lying. Not just in the 10 commandments—in the Bible. There IS a prohibition against lying when testifying. And there is a prohibition against deceptive business practices.

GQP thinks all Americans are Christians. Somebody needs to tell them we are multi-cultural society...oh, nevermind.

Do these scum think forcing the Ten Commandments on students is going to make them grow up to be good Republicans? No, its going to be just one more reason Gen Z hates their guts.

In a decade or so all these aging theocrats will be dead or dying, and Gen Z/Millennials will be running the country.

In short, Texas wants to ignore the Barnette ruling that says this sort of thing doesn't belong in schools.

The “golden rule” seems to cover all of these better and you see it in every elementary classroom already.

I guess they figure that “graven images and idols” are the REAL source of all our problems.

My favorite part is that they only live by 10 simple rules that they clearly can't be bothered to remember otherwise why do you need them posted?

Don't forget "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me." Worshiping power, money, and trump breaks that one easily enough.

Given the educational standards will students a few years from now be capable of even reading them?
