You want a maximum age for presidents?

Ok, let’s apply it to the Supreme Court too.

Oooh this could be a fun game!

I do not want a maximum age for President.

I would like historical perspective.

Many Presidents were older than the average life expectancy of their contemporaries.

Competency is not a number.

Lots of sound ideas, but how many could get through Congress now or ever? How many could be ratified by 38 states? If not, to what end? Sure, try to set an agenda, but don't kid yourself this is anything different from the electoral college screaming every four years.

As I lawyer I certainly support maximum age for judges. It's an exceptionally difficult job, that requires a keen awareness of modern social structure to compliment their immense understanding of the history of law.

It's really not a job for someone that is say 80+. I for one would want to retire.

If we’re making changes, let’s ensure a competent, knowledgeable individual is elected. Civic tests, complete and public background checks including tax returns, etc.

Term limits for SC justices as well, just like we have for presidents.
