"Not everything is bad. For the first time ever, the US produced more electricity from wind and solar than coal.

"15 states now get at least half their electricity from zero-carbon sources"

20 yrs ago the prez of the electric coop told me "all solar can not be done" i said - do it anyway - of course 1st we had to pay off an outside elec contract

what's your community doing?

There is no reason Colorado isn't using about 90% renewable energy. We have 2 things almost all day every day: sun and wind. It seems like a no-brainer to drastically expand renewable energy sources here. Fracking is the real answer. Nothing says "Colorado" like flammable tap water.. (Check YouTube)

Thank you for sharing such a positive message. We have South Australia here who are powered 70% by renewable energy. Hopefully, move states everywhere will follow eventually.

Well, not quite “zero carbon” as it takes a lot of carbon resources to manufacture and transport these “green devices”.

It’s a step in the correct direction, though.

Wind and solar and the climate is hotter and windier. The energy of this planet could have been solar and wind in the 1970's if certain Republicans had not been bought and sold!

The existence of this huge, vibrant coral reef near a deep trench, which cools and nourishes it, in the Caribbean gives one a bit of hope. (I love a tale of the sea!) https://www.pbs.org/wnet/n...
