The myth that citizens can out-organize voter suppression is not just wrong, it is dangerous.

Its a Dem House & 60 Senate votes needed to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act

since we don't have that yet, am thinking civil rights lawsuits to challenge all the voter suppression ?

Exactly. All these folks screaming about how we can win if we just VOTE are missing a big part of the picture.

Your Constitutional rights are being deprived when you can’t vote. Scream it from the rooftops on the daily.
Call the governors and legislators who enact suppression laws what they are: voter suppressors. Protest.
Fight against the unfair laws like you’re fighting for your lives because you are.

There should be minimum legal standards nationwide that outlaw voter suppression in all of its forms - including gerrymandering. That would require a constitutional amendment approved by either two-thirds of Congress or two-thirds of the States, as I understand it. What are the chances? 😕

I've been wondering if anyone has figured out the data as to what the outcomes will be if voter suppression works in 2024. Meaning, if suppression and gerrymandering are successful, which red states are guaranteed a win?

Thank you for your continuing fight against voter suppression! What about a 2 pronged strategy with fighting and voter organization?
