Threading is live, and here is how it works on Spoutible!

1. Spout as you usually would.

2. Click the spout.

3. You should see the " Add Threaded Spout" button underneath your first spout.

4. Click the "Add Threaded Spout" button to turn the first spout into a thread.

When you add your second spout to the thread, our platform automatically turns it into a numbered thread. You can have as many spouts in your thread as you like.

We are sure there will be bugs we missed, so please be patient while we get it sorted out. But threading is stable for release, so I hope you enjoy it!

⚠Note: Replying to yourself without using the "Add Threaded Spout" button will be treated as a normal reply. You must click the "Add Threaded Spout" button for threading.

I'm loving it. This allows me to keep my thoughts a little more organized. I talk about different subjects, so keeping them separated really helps and I can go back and review, so I don't repeat.

That's not the case. I just did so--twice--on a spout and it threaded both replies as 2 and 3. Also, as Zack Miller's reply shows, some replies by others are getting threaded. Third--and I noted this in a spout with a #featurerequest tag--threaded spouts beyond 1 are not appearing in follower feeds.

Do we need to spout, then go to our profile to see the spout and begin the thread? If so, can the thread button be added to each spout so we have the option to thread without going back to our profile?

Just tried it out and it works GREAT!

As usual, Spouty launches something with an improvement on Twitter right from the gate.

At least for me - If you see the Add Threaded Spout to the left of the dialogue cached data is conflicting with the update. So the button will say Add Threaded Spout but the action is really a Reply.
I cleared my cache, the button centered, and now all is good.
