A lot of the money in the market involves funds buying with retirement contributions of millions of people. They really would be impacted if those fund values dropped significantly. There's no diversifying against an across the board market collapse. It's happened before, it's painful and ripples.

There is an assumption that the economy will eventually collapse, but why? Yes, our economy is joke that’s not based in reality, but if the economy is the stock market and stocks are largely only owned by people who don’t NEED that money, who is going to be rushing to sell out to cause the collapse?
