CA Gov Gavin Newsom: "You don't get to rewrite history in a back room.

You don't get to erase basic facts around segregation, the holocaust, or Rosa Parks' story.

The extremists in Florida and textbook companies that are colluding with them are about to be exposed."

"Parents have a right to know what’s happening to undermine kids' education.

Governor Newsom is demanding records from publishers and Florida to find out whether any of the companies designing California’s textbooks are the same ones kowtowing to Florida’s extremist agenda."

CA is the 4th largest economy in the WORLD and home to 39M people (more than 10% of the U.S.).

Newsom recently used this same power to convince Walgreens to reverse it’s decision not to carry the anti-abortion pill.

Governor Hair has really won me over through the years… I think he’s come quite a ways in his political arc

He really has, and I for one hope he continues on the right path and has a bright future.

Newsom has been playing some really great offense and its been really fun to watch. He seems to have learned very well from his aunt (Pelosi).

The future looks very bright for Newsom. He is young and politically savvy. Would love to see him run for President in 2028 or 2032.

Texas and Florida are the 2 states that inform textbook material for the country. Texas always has been. This must change.

Yes. I've been posting in various places (I started with Message Boards in the 1990s) about Texas' stranglehold on textbooks and school curricula.

I'm glad someone in charge is finally starting to do something about it.
