With just 7000 more votes we could've been passing progressive legislation left & right. And no debt ceiling fiasco, no spurious investigations. We need to do everything we can to turn voters out & change minds in *every* election – local, state, & national.

.0006 % is what got Republicans control of the house. JUST 6,670 VOTES.

Between election cycles, do "friend-raising." Talk to everyone...family, friends, neighbors, co-workers about what they value, and what they want to see in good governance to help the community, and their families. Find common ground. Vet candidates. Help register voters, esp. Gen Z. Help GOTV!

A very large number of people only vote when they are panicked. For example. 9,243,895 people who voted for Democrats (aka against Republicans) in 2018 did not show up again in 2022.

We should also note that Republicans took the popular vote for the House in 2022 by 3,028,823 or about 2.8578 percent and won House seats by about 2.07 percent.
