Here's a personal pet peeve of mine-- calling completion of 8th grade (middle school) "graduation." I know I'm being weirdly pedantic but graduating insinuates that you are no longer obligated to continue your education when in fact, you have to go to school until you're 18 or complete high school.

It annoys me whenever I see 8th grade as "graduation." I'm not saying that completing middle school shouldn't be celebrated. Just don't call it "graduation." I mean, it is called "middle school" for a reason, right? It means you have to continue onward to high school.

Right?!! Like what did they "graduate" from? They don't get to go out in the world and not go to school. Oi!
