Around here there are usually tons, but the early warmth in Feb followed by flash freeze killed the buds…hoping for better next year.

We barely scrapped by. Two of ours have no blossoms at all. All of ours got frost burned but luckily out of our 7 hydrangia 3 are absolutely specatacular. I feel your pain. They will come back strong next year!

LOVE! All the blue hydrangeas I plant in my soil turn hot pink in one season. I haven’t messed with the soil ph or added fertilizer to get the right color balance, do you use anything specific to keep it healthy and blue?

No we do not do anything to adjust PH purposefully. We just water regularly and use an good organic fertilizer. We also spread hardwood mulch and or pinestraw around the base every spring.
