Bayard Rustin (1912-1987) was the trailblazing strategist behind the 1963 March on Washington and for Dr. King. He was instrumental w/ his "I Have A Dream" speech. He was also a gay black man.

It is a deep sign of ignorance when conservatives try to claim MLK and know nothing about the respect and deep friendship between King and Rustin.

You are very welcome. Elise. A lot of information about him is suppressed. Such a shame, too because he had such a major impact.
