The most underreported and egregious move in Postmaster DeJoy’s arbitrary postal service price hike agenda is a 300 percent price hike on essential services that are used primarily by immigrant and low-income households.

Money orders, long a lifeline for low-income people looking to pay rent, faced double-digit hikes too, and now cost twice as much at the Post Office as they do at Walmart.

DeJoy can call his 10-year plan whatever he wants, but it looks like a stealth plan for privatization that includes enormous network changes with tons of unanswered questions and almost no input from the public.

It appearis that the press (Time // WaPo) and Congress all seem to have lost any desire to hold DeJoy accountable, and are instead praising him for doing a thankless job and hanging in there amidst criticism. Question...How Do We Change This Dynamic?

Customers and postal workers are still contacting their members of Congress. The press seem content to say, good job bud–keep going. DeJoy is on the brink of shrinking the post office through egregious price hikes, consolidations causing a potential shockwave that could take decades to recover.

Please ECHO this thread. Add any ideas you have as to how we can get the press to focus on the privatization of the USPS before it's too late to stop what's happening right before our very eyes. Thank you.

How in earth is he still here? I read months ago that Biden had appointed a sufficient number to the board that he could rid of him. Why haven’t they?

Biden appointed 2 to the BOG who vote against DeJoy. But, he failed to appoint two more by Dec 8 2022 so Zollars and Moak are serving in holdover years until December 8, 2023. They vote with DeJoy -until they are replaced DeJoy goes unchecked. Follow www.savethepostoffice.com for more info.
