Ack! House Finch in my fern on the porch had two eggs. Today I saw they were gone. I went to the cam replay and WATCHED A CROW EAT HER EGGS. I will not disclose my plan to find the crow (🤔), but it’s the last bird I will allow to nest in my ferns. 😭

Many birds will eat eggs. They usually have a calcium deficiency when they do this. But be careful dealing with crows because they have memory and recognize faces. They can be revengeful if they feel that someone has wronged them.

I didn’t mind crows, but I hated this one at the time. 😂 At the same time, it’s the circle of life, and I (via my fern) was the intruder. 👍🏼
