Yep! The height of men's fashion then. Sadly, there is very little variation to men's clothing from one decade to the next, and I do believe that men embraced this look for it's relaxed and more colorful charm.

He probably did at one time. I did not know him then, we didn't meet until 2008, I did not see this outfit until 2015 when we were packing things to move and purging things we no longer needed or wanted. This was one item that had to go.

Put a white goatee and glasses on him and there would be a close resemblance, if he could still wear that leisure suit. Sam Elliot is a closer match in the apparel he wears currently.
