Detectify's marketing tweeted this earlier, which isn't correct. We didn't create the Detectify account. Their system automatically created it to analyze our website. We received over 400 reports when it started spamming spouts during the analysis process, so we added an avatar and verified it.

I reached out to our account manager, and their head of marketing to get this sorted. Here is Detectify running their scans on our staging server back in January. The account then was also created automatically.

I will admit this is not a good look and concerning. If they don't apologize by tomorrow morning (Saturday), close your account? No. They need to issue a public apology for full transparency.

It must be possible to verify who created the account.

So basically, … they punked themselves.

I hate it when that happens. 😂🤣

I'd ask for a refund if they are going to try and defame Spoutible this way.

Sloppy outrage. It happens, but they should apologize.
