Gifts to Supreme Court justices shouldn’t just be “disclosed.” They should be banned, outright. This should not be a radical position.

Years ago, I had federal and state employees turn down lunch, for heaven's sake, to avoid the appearance of prejudice. Current USSC is disgusting. Then again, look who appointed most of them. 😡

They aren't just gifts. They're some not so subtle bribes.

Federal civil service employees have limits on what they can accept. Very low limits.

As a staffer after Ambramoff, I couldn't accept a t-shirt. These donkeys shouldn't be able to accept private flights.

And mandatory recusal from a case where there is a personal connection, regardless of gifts.

Absolutely. I've heard government officials on the hot seat for accepting $200 gifts. Justices should be allowed to take NO gifts of any kind, & appearances at partisan events, which would stoke outrage if liberal justices did it, should be banned as well.
