I'm so proud of my foster kitty, Sugar! She was so scared of everything when she got here but is coming out of her shell. While she still hisses at Tabitha my other cat, I've actually caught her (almost) snuggling with the dogs.

Ugh so disappointed in the Pretty Litter company.
They have been selling small cans of wet food at Target for about a year and my elderly cat loves it. Also and more importantly, it's one of the few foods she can eat without upsetting her sensitive elderly kitty tummy.

I keep getting one that shows a dead rat and I need it off my feed.
Rats are smart, intelligent little animals and I don't want to them harmed or killed and I certainly don't want to see an ad promoting murder either. 😡

So many lakes to choose from! Ahh!! I decided to go with Laguna Colorada a small lake in the altiplano desert in Bolivia and near the border of Chile. The algae gives the lake its pink to red colour depending on the time of day.
Also it has flamingos and alpacas! 🦩🦙😍

One of my very, very elderly clients planted a tree with his partner when they bought their house 50 years ago. His partner has since passed away.

And not just English. I worked for a year to get comfortable speaking Spanish and the very first time I tried to use it while traveling in Peru - I was asking for directions - the woman started laughing and mocking me. It was demoralizing. I have never felt comfortable speaking it since.

I love hiking on days like today. The weather was perfect - just about 60 degrees so not too hot or too cold. Also, as it's still technically winter it is much easier to spot wildlife - like this deer!
