My wife is a huge fan of Tunnock's tea cakes. She has them imported from the UK a couple times each year. I find them to be okay.

I've had a couple different Oregon Rieslings this weekend. Outstanding. I'm too lazy to get into details now, but in the past decade Oregon has put forward some really top tier Rieslings. Attached pic is the universal sign for "Bob's drinking alone tonight." Don't like to, but will if I have to.

Hardening off some of the veggies. Just like us, plants need to be introduced to the sun gradually so they don't burn. The jalapenos did really well for a first outing. Peppers are notorious big babies about their first exposure to the sun.

A PSA on cutting board maintenance. I re-oil my cutting boards every year. They make butcher block oil for this purpose. It's food safe. Clean the surface, apply the oil evenly with an old rag. Don't leave any pooled and let it dry for a couple hours. Give it a quick wash and it's good to go. It

My re-watch for tonight. It should have been better with the cast they had, but it's a fun watch. The social commentary of the movie holds up well after 46 years given our current environment of conspiracies and disinformation. Streaming on at least Hulu and Prime.

My Rockies have won 7 of their first 31 games. For the first time ever in MLB, they have trailed at some point in every one of those games. On track for a 37-125 season. At least the White Sox have an even worse record. Poor White Sox fans.

One of my favorite yard tools. It's a Grandpa's Weeder. One handed operation, never have to lean over or touch the weed. Just step, tip, pull and it works beautifully on dandelions and thistles. You can do it with a drink in your spare hand, and I have. The big dandelion here was pulled out of that

Well, I've run out of room in both of my grow rooms for seedlings as I up-pot into bigger containers. Some of the reviving geraniums are going to have to go outside for now and be brought in when it gets too cold at night. If you're a plant in my world you quickly find out where you really stand.

I was wandering the greenhouse today for anything I couldn't do without. I came across these Lantana that I think are amazing. At $9 per 3.5" pot, I'm not going to have a lot, but may do cuttings and overwinter. Evidently they can be invasive in tropical climes. Not a problem here.
