Still weird to me that the Marvel producers made what is possibly the biggest series climax in film history, culminating like a decade of stories into a two part finale and instead of realizing they'd have to wind down for a while they seem to have gone "Oh cool this excitement will last forever!"

Holy fuck finally saw Slash/Back and it's really good. Slang is a bit different in Northern Canada, but it's really cool to see somewhere like Western Alaska (where I grew up) portrayed in kickass alien horror.

Just saw The Creator. Not sure what the general temp of the viewing public is but I really enjoyed it. Flawed for sure, especially in some of the wider structure, but a really cool Rural Cyberpunk sorta future Vietnam aesthetic that I think works really well for it. Definite theater viewing stuff.

I've recently heard the term "Asset Flip" used for:
1- Bad graphics
2- Boring level decoration
3- Boring level design
So does "Asset Flip" just no longer refer to jank games that are made of entirely premade assets & code and put up quick to make a quick buck? Does it just mean "don't like" now?

Just finished listening to Matt Baume's book on Sicoms and their evolving depicitons of LGBTQ themes and characters. Super interesting book, I especially love the extended Golden Girls section.
