#BirdoftheDay #72 Cedar Waxwing, one of the prettiest bird in my opinion that I have ever photographed. There were at least a dozen in the Arcadia County Park on March 13th. A lifer for me.

A Cedar Waxwing perched on a branch. There is some new growth on the branches which the Waxwing was eating. The bird has a brownish orange crest and head and a black mask in a triangle around the eyes. The beak is small, pointed, and gray. The orange color fades to a vibrant yellow belly then to a white at the tail. The tail feathers at the end and the wing tips are black.
