Just did a little math and not trying to brag but realized this month I have ridden around 245 miles, commuting.
Figure my commute is 16ish round trip miles and yesterday was my 15th commuter trip of this month.

Decided to start of the New Year fresh and cut my hair and shaved off the beard.

Caught myself thinking that I don’t remember the bicycle business being this slow last year.
Then realized that at this time last year I wasn’t working or even riding because my left arm was on in a sling while still in recovery from getting hit by a car. #yayfun

Ideally the final #biketoworkKC of the work week won’t require rain gear but considering that the rains will fall thoughout the night, it means at least fenders would be recommended.

Ah yes, another Friday night pedal commute down SWTrafficway where once again I’m slightly terrified by amount of speeding traffic & drivers backing out of parking spots into traffic with what seems like an attitude of no one matters but them.

Once again this morning I couldn’t find those pesky wool Defeet arm warmers.
Got home, walk in the door, park the bike, turn on the light, turn to hang my vest on the bicycle repair stand and… there is the missing DeFeet wool.

Little levee action on the round about route home. Was starting to rain a bit again too but home sweet home.

Not sure why I hung the commuter bike up tonight. I’m riding it tomorrow. By the ride home, on theory, it will be raining, so I’ll need the full fenders. Not to mention the front basket bag for transporting my rain gear to work in the morning. Tis the season. #fixedgearcommuter
