My mother passed 14 March 1998. I bonked my head on the chimes our writers' group gave me today. A hello from the adjacent writers' room. The greeting is from Dad, too, but he always counted on Mom to get the date right.

It's all about the cake. And the plate. This lusciousness is cherry nut. Which is now my imaginary wrestling name.

Women Over 50 Film Festival 10th anniversary. I submitted a screenplay for the 1st time ever in 2022. I brought home a 3rd Place. If you are over 50, if at least one of your leads is a woman over 50, this is the festival you need. And you can watch the selections in September! https://wofff.co.uk/

thread 1 Threaded Spouts
Women Over 50 Film Festival is open for submissions to its 10th anniversary celebration. Short screenplays, films either directed by, written by, or a lead character a woman over 50. Only 3 big screen fillms in 2023 had a lead character over 45, an historic low. Change it up! https://wofff.co.uk/

Made use of the Bronze Age comic books I got for my brother over the years, thinking he'd like an intact book. He won't touch them. He loves his tattered, well-loved pages. These are 3/4 inch size. Didn't have to polish the art. Nobody's going to see these well. They all look alike at this scale.

Gerry Gravelle was a Detroit composer, arranger, friend of my Dad's. Because he was a "meat human" creator, I know how much scribbling this piece cost him. He used it as a folder for a piece he did for me. There is a connection between creator and the art that AI cannot emulate.

News services are sliding into sensational headline journalism. "Many believers" think USA needs to be named a Christian nation because the founding fathers wanted that. Not so fast, AP News. Most were Deists, who rejected the primary dogma of Christianity, valuing reason over revelation.
