They all need to read about racism vs anti-racism and how there's no neutral. Read Angela Davis & Ibram X Kendi. And saying an action/inaction is racist is not calling the person racist.

If resources & attention are disproportionately allocated to MAiD, aren't we in fact restricting choice, under the guise of choice & autonomy?

Between these two & then ableist jokes about a doctor with a cane looking worse off than patients, I've hit my limit of daily aggressions today.

PS: told the (white) nurses about this and they've never been hassled for parking in the same lot in PM when allowed, or been told to go "fetch" a chart by this surgeon.

I hear too often, often in retrospect to previous decisions made, that patients didn't feel like they had the agency to ask questions to really understand and try to make the best decisions for themselves. Let's help our patients and empower them.

There are also pts who will make the best decision for them that includes interventions/chemo/radiation etc for the possibility of a few more months. That is ok too.

Is their trauma justified in being shared for world to consume?

I was trapped upside down in my car for almost 2 hrs. I would not have wanted to know there was a video of me panicking in pain.
Can't imagine these poor children (& the adults) trapped for days.
