I’m just avoiding his family (they’re diehard)
& working in my favor, I’m known as being ‘strange’ & leaning toward agoraphobic…(reaction to Covid)
So choosing not to participate isn’t seen as completely out of character

would resolve so much if gun owners have to carry insurance...
you don't want to have to apply for a permit, go through a background check, even LEARN about gun safety/mechanics?
fine
then put your $ where your big mouth is
(also: consider higher taxes on ammo...as w/cigarettes)

yes...
I've had that thought, too
as in: where are all the 1%-ers & why are they so quiet/hidden? don't they feel the need to participate in improving society as a whole or is it always solely about a bigger yacht/more luxurious ninth home?

guess I'll just have to see how it plays out (& if it ever goes back to Normal!)

(very necessary in this world of subtly nuanced, social media snippets of communication!)

exactly...while I'm beyond thrilled that it's a step toward accountability, which is necessary in order to prove that "no one is above the law"
however
it's very sad for our country

Who is Trump? - The Warning with Steve Schmidt
Who is Trump? Forget everything you know about him for a second, and imagine hearing him for the first time. Imagine hearing him speak this week in Washington, DC. It is madness. All of it. The country is moving towards an inexorable confrontation between American democracy and the delusions, insani..

A few years ago we researched where we wanted to live when we retired (anywhere in the U.S. was up for discussion)...
thank goodness we ruled out FL.
Now, we won't even visit;
none of our $$ needs to be spent in a State where unfair policies screw the general population w/govt. approval

I can't (no one can) know which side will prevail & whereas there are plenty of things I don't have control over in my life (& future),

That's the part that I don't understand.
I know it hasn't been an issue in the past but obviously at this stage of the game the gqp has no respect for the office & therefore no respect for the SOTU. They need to be made aware that disrespect will be met with immediate removal,
then
follow thru
