Happy heavenly birthday to Earl King (February 7, 1934 – April 17, 2003). For some reason he's left out when talking about the Kings of Blues, but he wrote some heavy hits like "Come On" and "Big Chief.". Here he is performing with the Butanes.

I'm not sure how to kick this off, but I guess I'll post on the albums I'm listening to. Right now it's Midnight Oil's 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Such a great example of tension and release. Easily my favorite Oils record.
