When we moved we had a lot of random keys and James was complaining he didn't know where they were anymore so...we call it our keyboard, pun intended. This is hanging by the back door.

A friend of mine did something similar but instead of greenery around the frames she had live houseplants in the center. She ordered some special pots that she nailed to the wall for the plants to grow.

James has cleared a walking path for me on the other side of the branch from our home. Got an app to see how many times around would equal 1 mile for reference. When we lived in town, had a 3 mile circle we would walk daily in our neighborhood that was right by the Duck River. Photos from yesterday.

Just walked down to the blueberry patch and looks like we'll have a good harvest, unless we get a hard freeze. The buds are already setting fruit. Would have posted another type of bud but felt like entrapment! 🤪

We enjoy living out in the boondocks, for the most part, except taking about 45 minutes (one way) to get to the closest town. Just got back from grocery run and other sundries. We always pass by this old abandoned house and always wonder what stories the walls could tell.

These are fun to make using an old pair of denim jeans. Like using ones with buttoned pockets on the back. The front pockets are great for keys. Lined with leftover fabric and handsown button clasp. Strap made from the legs.

Iris' have a fairly long stem with multiple flower blooms. Photo taken while having my first cup of coffee this morning. You can't really tell but this is a common two-tone purple but the top petals look almost white.
