I haven't visited Twitter in at least six months. Just looked at it briefly, and now I am exhausted.

It has been one thing after another, for years. None of them my fault but all became my problem. Such is life, but I may be losing the tenacity to press on.

We don't need to know how or why the experiences of some people do not collide with reality, but we should be able to comprehend that their fear is real.

My granddaddy's highest education level was primary school. He grew up in a time of war, in which attending school was impossible. Through his love of reading, he grew up to be a Renaissance Man. My granddaddy was the wisest person I personally know.

Perhaps he will take comfort in being the first in so many things: Charged with federal crimes, assigned a probation officer, etc.

It is possible the Biden administration is weaponizing the DOJ against its opponent, politics is dirty. But it isn't Biden's fault that Trump makes it so easy.

Boebert tweeted today that tax is theft. She forgot she is a beneficiary of such theft. As a self-respecting Republican, her paychecks are pennies compared to the grifts she receives.

In response to the Clinton sex scandal, some Americans said they didn't care what Clinton did in his personal life as long as he governed well. Not holding our leaders to a higher standard is what got us Trump and the rubbish in Congress.

Imagine a Texan who is open-carrying witnesses a George Floyd situation go down, the guy on the ground is complaining about not being able to breathe. How likely would the Texan intervene?

I acknowledge the possibility that Clarence Thomas really didn't know better, but his indiscretion shows his inability to make good judgements. The ability to make good judgements is a requirement of any fair judge and justice. Therefore Clarence Thomas must be removed from the SCOTUS.

Clarence Thomas is a sad sad man. He believes he is one of them, but he has always only been a tool to them.

Some people are unjustifiably proud of being the product of a happy biological accident, many of the same people refuse to acknowledge their heritage and rise above the mistakes made by their ancestors. Others are drowning in remorse and seem unable to free themselves from the original sin.

It is bad for a country when its citizens feel nothing but exasperation whenever their elected representatives open their mouths. Though exasperation is what I feel whenever a tweet by Boebert or Greene is imposed on me, I read their tweets so as not to be ignorant of the junk they spew.
