It’s hard sometimes to connect with your teenage kids but I love how sports always connects me with my son and music with my daughter. Doing both in the same day is fantastic.

As I sit here listening to my kid practice the saxophone in his room I can’t imagine playing as well as he does. Most nights I fall asleep listening to his jazz.

I have to remind myself to come here first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, old habits die hard and Twitter grabbed my attention. So much crap bubbling up on my feed and I'm tired of it. I don't recognize it any longer. Musician friends posts are not bubbling to the top and seem buried now.
