1st family trip to Disneyland in 1971. Mom made our polka dot outfits. On the "Jungle Cruise", the guide made the comments partially through the ride exclaiming "Oh my gosh, I thought those tigers were so frighting, I'm now seeing spots before my eyes!", to everyone's laughter.

I was born and raised in San Diego County. Win or lose, I will always cheer on my team. I belong to their first club called "The Little Swingers". It was how my family of 8 could afford the nosebeed seats at "The Murph"!

I had planted my Rose of Sharon in two places on my property from just a few plantings dug out from a neighbors farm about 7 yrs ago. I then dug up the babies of those plants and put all over my yard. With the rain we FINALLY received, they are blooming like crazy! I love it!!

SISTERS!
1st, it was cold (61 ) for 2 nights/mornings in a row. I was thankful I had my black/white light jacket in the van. It was suppose to go to Salvation Army, but I hadn't dropped off that bag yet.

I turned a 1960's stereo system I bought for $2 bucks at an auction, into a gardening cabinet for my hose & other gardening equipment. I then painted it black to weather proof it from rain & snow.
I was able to take out the turntable & reel to reel system, but had to leave the AM/FM stereo part

Once the painted rug had dried, the neighbor came over to help move the table & chairs back on my deck.
I joyously decorated the tabletop as if I have company & we're drinking coffee!
