Every once in a while you find the perfect #frame for a picture.
This is my oldest son 37 years ago who was then my sweet 3 year old little devil. 😈

Many years ago my now adult daughter gave me this sweet “I’m a #Hug for Mom” Mother’s Day gift.
I treasure it. 🤗

I planted this Japanese flowering dogwood tree in the #earth in 2016. It replaced a similar tree on the other side of the lawn from 1976 that was destroyed during hurricane Sandy in 2012.
This picture is from June 2021 when all the flowers are in bloom for a month.

I’m not sure exactly when, how, or what caused the porcelain enamel to #sear on my favorite whistling red tea kettle but I do have my suspicions.
Not to worry. I am right-handed so the tea kettle, a permanent fixture on my stove, faces the other direction.

Pansies have always been the first flowers I plant in the Spring.
The last few years, the local bunnies had their own ideas.
Thinking I would outsmart them, I made a stone border around the tree.
Of course stones were no match for determined bunnies.
