Op to shave arthritic bone put in some soft material. I’ve metal in foot separating 2 bones so bones don’t fuse & soft matter establish, metal is temp & extends 30mm out of the toe, so they can pull it out later. The end looks so much like a flag I had to paint it.

Recent efforts using KandM trees, with twisted wire trunks. My eldest (m32) was sufficiently impressed I had to make a few for him on round bases. The ones I’m using are on hex’s.
