Working on my FOSCAR project for 1929, and that means Louise Brooks. This is a publicity shot for The Canary Murder Case, an enjoyable film, but one that can't stand against her work in Germany the same year.

Deathtrap about to begin on TCM. I first saw it in the theater in '82, and gave me a very different look at Superman. A great film.

Tonight's film was The Menu (2022), a stylish dark satire with a fantastic ending. The cast is solid, though hardly surprising with Ralph Fiennes who always is. The standout is Anya Taylor-Joy who has had a fantastic few years and is just getting better.

Re-watch of Jackie Brown placed it higher on my list of Tarantino films -- now fighting for the 2nd spot. Samuel L. Jackson is fantastic, of course, but hadn't recalled how good De Niro and Keaton were.

I can't imagine that #TheFlashMovie will be much good. But it is good to see #MichaelKeaton again as #batman . I'll watch it for him.
