Walk on the beach this morning. As Joe Newberry says, outside is good for your insides.

Happy Fathers Day to all who’ve filled that roll. I had one of the best. Still miss this kind, compassionate, funny man. He adored children.

Giant swallowtail butterflies like to lay their eggs on citrus. I got to see one this morning laying eggs on my orange tree! Hoping for caterpillars! The eggs are tiny!

My pup spent 6 days at pup camp with his trainer while I was out of town. While he was happy to see me, he really wasn't that excited to leave his buddies. When we got home, he crashed on the couch for the rest of the day.

Historian Heather Cox Richardson just posted on FB that her new book will be coming out in September. It should be a great read. If you have t followed her on FB or sub stack, you should.

My adopted city is full of joy. There is always something interesting today. Today they had a sidewalk chalk competition in Forsyth Park. Just magical.

There’s a lot wrong with social media/the internet. But then there’s the time you fix your non-functioning oven using YouTube videos and online repair tutorials. Out with the old control board-in with the new! Who knew it would be so easy.

So cool to watch a lettered olive snail burrow into the mud. I’d found him on dry sand so put him in one of the tidal pools & got to watch him go to work.
