Heading to NYC for 5 days/4 nights in August for Broadway plays, MoMA, MMA, Central Park. Any reasonable and safe hotels? My husband is taking my son and his gf. Son going to grad school in the fall!!! gf is aspiring playwright. I'm petrified of Covid, so not going. :(

I want to see this place succeed because having our own space a place to talk, organize and share is important. Even for a social awkward weirdo like me I get the healing from connecting with people. But nasty folks on the other sites like ruining that. Its why I cherish Spoutible, its a safe haven.

So many trolls on the bird app. Kumail Nanjiani posted a picture of him and his wife at some show, both wearing N95 masks, since she's immunocompromised. I applaud them! I know, don't read the comments. It's hard to be the only one in the room wearing a mask.

People who are disabled, immunocompromised, or high risk deserve joy too. And they have every right to express their anger when they are excluded from participating in joyful activities in public spaces due to lack of community care.
