I purchased my eighteenth complete 1960's series today, "Get Smart". My memory thought the first season was filmed in black and white, but my research on the series found only the pilot episode was filmed in black and white. I look forward to watching the series.

"The Thin Man" is my favorite movie. I've watched my Blu-ray 134 times since 7-21-21. I paid $22, so that equals 16.417¢ per viewing.

The Berkeley Pit was Butte's first large truck-operated open-pit copper mine until mining ceased in 1982. By 1980 nearly 1.5 billion tons of material had been removed from the Pit, including more than 290 million tons of copper ore. The water in the pit is extremely toxic.

This is an image of the Berkeley Pit in Butte, MT and is a satellite image. The pit is about three quarters filled with dark, green color water that is the most toxic body of water in the USA. A flock of geese landed on the lake once and died quickly. There are now measures in place that deter waterfowl from landing on the water.

An adult diaper was my first mask. I desperately needed to go to the store and decided that if an adult diaper keeps liquids from the sheets, then it should do ok as a way to avoid covid while at the store. It worked.

My neighbors across the way were forced to move because of a burst pipe during the cold spell. This box has been sitting on the porch for a few days. I informed management.

My kitchen has a lot going on, but I like my pretties. I have collected all these items over the years. I'm not that talented, but ever so appreciative of a this type of talent.

My 1970's kitchen. This place was built in 76. The cupboards are a fake dark brown wood pattern. On all the doors are handmade trivets, trivet covers over trivets, and various styles of handmade decorative pot holders. On top of the front facing cupboard are one toaster, two coffee pots, three pitchers, and four pyrex primary color bowls. The left counter has a microwave and a 1975 gold Mixmaster. The stove is a short 76 apartment stove. Right area has counter space and sink.

Ever be it's so wonderful, there's no place like home. I am home and happy. The picture shows all the covers I had on me the night I stayed in the apartment.

Now I have 5 days to get my apartment ready for HUD inspection. Biggest chore is to clean the oven. Thanks to all who kept my spirits up

I've never been without power for 20 hours in a city. There has been no updates since the first one. They haven't figured out a cause or tried. It's gonna be a chilly day. I'm wrapped up in so many layers. Hope the power comes on before bedtime. It was a long night yesterday. I know PGE is busy.

It's midnight on the West Coast. Happy time zone to y'all. The app I use to track my internet usage showed that I spent 5 hours 21 minutes on the internet. 5 hours Spoutible, 21 minutes researching spouts. The nine minutes on Notes was composing a spout.

I’m not a professional photographer, here’s a photo I took, now you.

#SpoutibleBakes brownies again because they are so easy to make. The vanilla buttercream looks brown because the last time I made frosting, I accidentally put the cocoa in the powdered sugar.

On a wire rack is an 8" x 8" x 2" glass Corning baking dish. The inside is covered in vanilla buttercream frosting with sprinkles on top.

#SpoutibleCooks beef stock on the stove. Smells good too and is tasty. I used a rack of beef ribs as the meat.

Three gallon stock pot on a stove. The pot has a brown liquid in it. There is a layer of bubbly fat on top of the liquid. A third of the pot has a tyed-up piece of cheese cloth containing celery, onion, carrots, and spices.

#SpoutibleBakes It shouldn't be so easy to make brownies and buttercream frosting. I do have a sweet tooth.

On a kitchen counter that is white with gold specks sits an 8" x 8" x 2" Corning Ware glass baking dish. The picture looks straight down. The inside of the dish is filled with brownies that are frosted with dark brown chocolate buttercream frosting and has multi-colored sprinkles on top..... Recipe.....1 stick or ½ cup butter.....2 ounces unsweetened chocolate.....1 cup sugar.....2 eggs.....¾ cup flour....1 TSP vanilla - I use 3 TSP.....Melt butter and chocolate on low heat. Take off burner, add sugar and stir till combined. Add eggs and vanilla. Lightly stir till just combined. Stir in flour. Pour in 8" x 8" "2" lubed pan. Preheat oven to 350°F bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick or knife comes out clean. 1950's Betty Crocker Cook Book

Here is picture of all three of my till-death-do-us soulmates. They each were wonderful, loving, joined-at-the-hip partners. I miss each of them and I am a better person because of them. Please read alt text for a description of each man.

The middle picture is from 1992, at mom & dad's place with my second till-death-do-us, Steve. The third picture is also at mom's with my third till-death-do-us, Earl, from 1999.
Tony was an Italian American who could sell fish to a sea captain who just came in with a full trawler of fish. He passed in 1987. We called ourselves the Snuggly Bears.
Steve was a Navy Veteran from the Vietnam era, not in Vietnam, and claimed he was the x-ray tech who was in the x-ray room at Bethesda Naval Hospital on a late November night back in '63. Steve passed in 1994. He was Papa Bear and I was cub.
Earl was a Navy Veteran who was an ET2 aboard the USS Prairie, in the Pacific during the Carter years. Earl was also graduated community college as an arborist. Earl passed in 2006. He was my Pookie and I was his Googly Bear.
