I was sad to see a few people gone. I also missed all the drama that happened and only saw the aftermath. But, I totally agree. No shenanigans. Get the brooms!🧹

I’m so excited that a bird like this was at my feeder today. The photo is from All About Birds but it looks almost exactly like the one I saw today. It’s a Lazuli Bunting and they are so lovely. They are found primarily in western North America.

Also, check out this awesome ruffled shelf mushroom that has almost the look of old mahogany! This came from the tree we just cut which tells you a bit about the condition of the tree (it was almost completely hollow and filled with ants 🐜).

I’m very sad that we had to cut down one of our huge trees in the back yard today. We left a good part of the trunk as a habitat but watching the birds wondering hat the hell happened is making me sad.😔
