Rebecca Lee Crumpler 1831-1895 was the first Black woman to earn a medical degree. She applied to medical school in 1860 at the New England Female Medical College (which later merged with Boston University). She was accepted and graduated 4 years later.

Just had an evening out with my Mom. We end up at a nice restaurant bar, ordered appetizers & drinks. Ended up in a huge conclave with four other wonderful women at the bar, all of us with amazing stories & great energy. We have officially formed a new club & I’m in awe of the great feminine energy!

Dakota loved her baby pool. She would run across the yard and belly flop into the tiny pool. Then she would make sure you enjoyed the #refreshing cold water by slapping her wet tail against your legs. Dakota crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago and is dearly missed. #DailyPictureTheme
