If it comes out that Ramaswamy sees his most viable path the 2024 presidency as being the most like Trump and Trump unable to run from being arrested, I would not be shocked.

What’s the downside, Trump appreciates and trusts him enough to platform him?

Do you all agree with this?

I think libraries are the bedrock of a community, local temples to literacy. I think they have a bright future.
Iain McIntosh @IKMc
Not used library for > 30y but used to use them a lot. Pick up many books in charity shops + 2nd hand on-line so have no need of library nowadays (+ love to re-read books I own). For technical research Web is godsend => libraries obsolete for research. Can't see a future for libraries with books.

Farmers quickly adopted water conservation practices that conformed to the situation. Farmers tried alternative hybrids, crops and practices and found that little was lost in yields. The 5 year averaging allowed farmers to maximize yields over varying weather situations and soil types.

Neighboring areas were mad that we acknowledged a problem. After two years the State stepped in and imposed LEMAs on all water users. Wells are metered, and our previous allowance of 24 acre/inches per year was reduced in 2012 to 55 acre/inches in 5 years.

I am retired, but was one of the first irrigators in our area. The Ogallala Aquifer is huge. As the water table dropped a group in our area formed to mitigate the problem. We formed the first Local Enhanced Management Area (LEMA) in conjunction with the state groundwater management dept.

Yes, it was the 1990’s. Yes, it was a Christian college and drinking alcohol was against the rules.
