This FOUND antho is a BLAST. It perfectly nails the tone/delivers on the creepypasta/urban legend/cursed media/friend-of-a-friend vibe it promises. The variety/imagination of these tales is impressive + inspired: every tale entertains, chills, and/or disturbs. Feat/Ed by @AndrewCull

Just watched. Mia Goth is an incredibly talented actress. The end now ties with Kate Micucci's stellar subtly-changing smile/laughter at the end of "The Outside" as a tour-de-force of unhingedness.

Watched this for our Friday Night Movie.
Enjoyed it. Imaginative, dark, not your typical horror film, absolutely worth a watch. And omg, that button on the end was completely unnecessary but I appreciated the hell out of it.

HELICOPTER PARENTING... by @patrickbarb is a prescient examination of our reliance on technology & the contradictions/conflicts of its omnipresence. It's also a cautionary tale on how domestic apathy can have horrific repercussions & consequences. Chilling, lean, mean, unique.

Haaaa the thought that any AI could possibly rival/mimic the unfettered, feral fecundity that spills from my brain drain in bountiful, blinding lumens of lunacy is laughable. But also, FUCK all AI. Except for @aijiang - she's cool and not at all evil (that I'm aware of.)

This movie on Shudder was a delight. And by "delight," I mean it was creepy, refreshingly unique, & had some stellar acting by everyone involved. A cool, scary take on Jewish mythology.

OUR SHARE OF NIGHT is impressive and horrifying. It's an eerie, looming painting of a dark fable, shaded w/ the bloody paint of histories. It's gory, gothic- impassive yet brutally tragic- an epic that entwines allegory w/ political & occult horror into a spell that entrances.

WASPS IN THE ICE CREAM is an unvarnished account of the conflicts and cruelties of adolescence, tempered with a tremendous amount of heart and dashes of ghosts/magic. Touching, authentic, bittersweet- filled w/ earnest yearnings and the chaos of youth- it's a delight.

It's tempting to make this place the faucet of (and for) my brain deluge and just spout off/drain my stream-of-consciousness poetry, thoughts, and observations about books, art, people, society, and life in general, here- randomly turning the spigot on and off with feral energy when the mood strikes

Scary, heartfelt, unique- with one of the most satisfying haunted house origin stories I've ever read- THE SPITE HOUSE gleefully grabs you and headily haunts you, leaving you to ponder on humanity's propensity for malice and the power pain can unleash. Fantastic!

Desire, compulsion, and sacrifice are required in Art, but first must come inspiration. Maker & muse can manifest magic or monstrosities- often, these things are the same. STORIES OF THE EYE examines all these elements- the results, like great art, will entertain and provoke.

THE DISMEMBERED: Wow, what a ride! Jonathan Janz writes with eloquence & diabolical gusto in this dark, wicked li'l tale. A homage to Gothic fiction that's thoroughly modern, full of surprises, & NOT shy about getting truly horrific/terrifying.

One of my favorite movies, and one of my favorite quotes from a filmmaker (& re: life in general):
