We reached Ísafjörður (in northern Iceland) on Thursday. Husband and I (along with only 9 other Explora Journeys guests) had a whale and puffin safari on a high-speed, inflatable boat.

Sakura (the Pan-Asian restaurant on the Explora Journeys ship) is fantastic! Truly authentic in both cuisine and design. We loved it so much and there were so many dishes we wanted to try that we’ve already dined there a second time.

Husband & I landed in Reykjavík & went to The Retreat at Blue Lagoon for a few hours of amazing relaxation in the water, spa, restaurants. These photos don’t do it justice!
Key is to visit The Retreat side as it’s more private & peaceful. So private that we had sections of the lagoon to ourselves.

A few days ago, took a 45-min helicopter ride to our next resort. Yet again, my video didn’t pass @Spoutible safety checks. It’s only a vid of my heli over Fiji landscapes!! No people in it! This is ridiculous. Visit my Fiji inst story & Twitter.

This samurai experience … SO MUCH FUN!!! Watched a #Samurai performance, followed by a lesson on key samurai moves. Some moves were similar to those I used when I fenced 🤺 in college.
