I'm a transgender and LGBTQ refugee advocate in kakuma camp in Kenya. I came to be in kakuma after being perscueted from Uganda due to SOGI

It's time for meaningful dialogue to address the outstanding concerns we are facing as the Transgender, Lesbian, Bisexual, amd Gay community in Kakuma region and the Refugee Camp's security issues there that continue to make life so difficult. #kakumanotyetsafe

The homophobic attacks are still going on in kakuma refugee camp and this time around it's really worse and a gay man was horribly killed yesterday because of his sexual orientation. Kindly international community stand with us in this incredibly difficult time, the photos are really horrible

I'm finally sent free after being arrested because of my gender identity! I was undressed by the homophobic detainees while squeezing my genitals. I'm not physically, emotionally and mentally ok. LGBTQ refugees are on their own in Kenya please be our voices. I need your support!
